SOCIO-CULTURAL  Improve accuracy and consistency of departmental information;  Streamline systems and eliminate manual forms;  Facilitate staff professional development and training;  Launch Data Driven Decision Making Program (D3M);  Support business units in their delivery of next generation business applications and modernized infrastructure to enable their innovative successes including:  Tempest Tax & Utility Billing system;  MySurrey Portal;  Move GIS, Marketing and Fire onto ServiceNow;  Website Video Stream Replacement;  Museum Archives Minisis Upgrade;  FDM Upgrade;  Laserfiche Upgrade;  New Intranet Features Phase 2;  Email Marketing & CASL Compliance Capabilities with new Upaknee platform;  RCMP Asset Management Solution (Wise Track) implementation;  Financial Management System Reporting improvements;  Upgrade the City’s Human Resource and Payroll system, PeopleSoft; and  Upgrade the Land Management System, AMANDA.

 Collaborate and develop updated requirements for the replacement of the Class platform that is scheduled to be decommissioned in December 2017;  Assess and implement enhanced reporting, dash boarding and analytical abilities to enable modernized data driven decision capabilities to assist business areas in meeting City objectives;  Invest in new authentication technologies to provide an enhanced and secure experience to remote and mobile city staff;  Provide oversight and leadership for the creation of an overarching City Fibre Plan in support of positioning the City as a progressive, connected community, making it attractive to wired and mobile-enabled City employees, businesses, residents and visitors;  Enhance business work flows for greater efficiencies by leveraging the opportunities offered by the City’s modernized financial system. Implement the City’s financial applications strategy actions to meet the City’s goals;  Further progress the Smart Surrey Strategy as Surrey evolves on its path as the second metropolitan core for the region, enabling integrated technological advancement and innovation to shape the City at all levels, to inform decision-making, create efficiencies and optimize the effectiveness of City resources leading to sustainable economic development and high quality of life;  Invest in advanced security technologies to further increase the

City’s overall level of protection against cyber security threats;
