June 9 Saturday Healthy Active Aging Conference Newton Seniors Centre Supporting healthy, active aging The Conference will focus on 4 key areas: Safety, Health & Wellness; Buildings & Outdoor spaces; Transportation; and Home. This event is brought to you through the support of: City of Surrey Seniors Advisory and Accessibility Committee. Workshop listing will be available in May. June 9 Saturday 11am-4pm 10th Anniversary Surrey Nature Centre 14225 Green Timbers Way 604-502-6065 Join us as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Surrey Nature Centre! Enjoy guided nature walks, story times, live entertainment and lots of fun indoor and outdoor nature activities. There’ll be something for everyone! Drop in to create, explore, and enjoy art with friends and family! Engage in activities that respond to the exhibitions, including hands-on artmaking workshops in a range of mediums, an art explorer game in the Gallery, and an interactive performance in the Studio Theatre. Everyone welcome. Children must be with an adult. June & July Tuesday 6:30pm-8:30pm Art Together Join us every other Tuesday June 12, 26, July 10. Surrey Art Gallery surrey.ca/artgallery This bi-weekly program is a unique opportunity to create do-it-together art projects and learn a range of art media shoulder-to-shoulder with emerging to established mentoring artists.
