Registered Scottish Afternoon Tea Historic Stewart Farm Relax in the farmhouse’s cozy 1890s kitchen with a pot of our exclusive Murchie’s tea blend, delectable farm- baked scones and Scottish shortbread, all served by a costumed guide. Saturdays and Sundays in July and Aug $12.25/person 16yrs+ July 7, 8, 15, 22, 28, 29 Aug 4, 5, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 1:00pm-2:30pm Farm Birthday Parties Historic Stewart Farm Celebrate your child’s special day the way kids did 100 years ago. Partiers play old- time games and make an old fashioned craft to take home. You supply the cake, and let the kids churn the ice-cream. Girl Guides & Scouts Canada: Badge Programs Historic Stewart Farm Girl Guide and Boy Scout groups tour the farm to get a taste of life 100+ years ago. Prepare applesauce on the wood-burning stove, do old-style chores and more. Finish with a traditional barn dance. This program covers six requirements for a Heritage Home Skills badge. Bring a team of friends or family and join in this race around the farm. From skill- testing questions to farm chores, see if you can beat last year’s record holders. There are prizes and bragging rights to be won! Be sure to check-in at the welcome table by 2pm to ensure your spot. Saturday, August 11 11:00am-3:00pm All ages Celebrate harvest season with your clan at the Farm. Enjoy a performance from the Re-enactors, try your hand at traditional harvest games & activities (including potato sack races & scarecrow relay), grab a bite to eat from the food truck on site and more.
