Get outdoors this summer. Explore GreenTimbers Park with a guide and learn about nature in the city! We offer free programs and activities weekly throughout July and August. Drop in to borrow a fishing rod or Discovery Backpack! Play and learn at your own pace in the Sky Room where you’ll find a variety of books and field guides, puppets, natural materials and opportunities for hands-on exploration.
Story Time Start your visit with a nature-themed story to inspire your outdoor play! Story Time is offered rain or shine and will be hosted outdoors when conditions allow. Surrey Nature Centre All Ages Tu-Sa Jul-Aug 10:30am

Exploring SURREY'S PARKS Nature Walks at Surrey Nature Centre
Join our guide for a family-friendly nature walk to discover the Surrey Nature Centre and GreenTimbers Park, and the animals and plants who call it home. Walk routes and themes may change from week to week, so come back often. NEIGHBOURHOOD ENHANCEMENT GRANT Apply for the City’s Neighbourhood Enhancement Grant for financial support for your project! All Surrey residents, community groups, businesses and associations can apply. NEIGHBOURHOOD EVENT EQUIPMENT Make your next neighbourhood event a big success! If you’re planning something like a block party, festival, outdoor music, neighbourhood clean-up or art jam, you can borrow a tent, tables, lawn games and even a portable sound system.
