Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use Urgent Care Response Centre A central point of access for adults (19 years and older) in Surrey who are experiencing urgent mental health and substance use concerns and who voluntarily seek and require urgent care, but don't require hospitalization. Services offered include: • Crisis stabilization • Assessment and psychiatric consultation • Treatment initiation • Connection to community based services

Community Response Emergency Response Short Stay Treatment (“CRESST”) The community response emergency short stay treatment (CRESST) South is an emergency psychiatric facility for clients experiencing a mental health crisis. CRESST prevents unnecessary hospitalizations and maintains patient autonomy in a safe, supportive, and supervised setting. Patients stay at the facility voluntarily. Access is provided through: • MHC case managers • Psychiatrists • Emergency mental health services • Physicians
