TRANSPORTATION

BUILT ENVIRONMENT & NEIGHBOURHOODS

Continue coordinating an effective approach to implementing the transportation component of the new Provincial Legislation, Bills, 44, 46, and 47; and

Support the update to the Official Community Plan.

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Raise and widen 152 Street corridor between 40 Avenue and 5000 block as part of the Disaster Mitigation Adaptation Works (estimated project value $54.1M); • Start construction of the 20 Avenue Overpass of Highway 99 along with corridor approach improvements (estimated project value $24.9M); • Target an annual lane-km total of 9.0 lane-km for local, 9.0 lane-km for collector, 10.0 lane-km for arterial, and 29.0 lane-km for MRN road pavement rehabilitation; • Continue phased widening of the 32 Avenue corridor with the segment between Highway 15 to 184 Street beginning in 2025 (estimated project value $18.5M); and • Continue development of data processes and analytics in support of implementing Sustainable Service Delivery Initiatives.

• Deliver road widening and improvements in Campbell Heights (estimated project value $33.0M) along various corridors such as 192 Street, 24 Avenue and 16 Avenue; • Widen 72 Avenue in East Clayton east of 188 Street (estimated project value $9.5M); • Complete Phase 4 of 64 Avenue widening from 152 Street to 164 Street (estimated project value $4.0M); • Widen 140 Street between 88 Avenue and 92 Avenue providing improved • Construct collector improvements along 96 Avenue between 116 Street and 120 Street in coordination with Delta (estimated project value $4.0M); • Twin the 152 Street crossing over Nicomekl River with completion anticipated by Summer 2025 (estimated project value $14.5M), and sidewalks and protected cycling facilities (estimated project value $7.8M);

provide seismic upgrades to the existing crossing by Winter 2025 (estimated project value $1.5M);
