Learn to Fish May 3, 10am-12pm Learn the basics of freshwater fishing including hatchery roles, fish identification & biology, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands on fishing! Guided Green Timbers Walk May 3, 11am-1pm Join us for a nature walk in Green Timbers. Get outside, make new friends, and uncover amazing secrets of the forest along the way! Drop in. All ages. Surrey Nature Centre (14225 Green Timbers Way) Hosted by Green Timbers Heritage Society. Arbor Day Celebration May 3, 11am-2pm Celebrate trees and help grow the urban forest. Help plant new park trees and some smaller forest trees and shrubs; enjoy music, kids’ activities and more; free lunch provided to planters (while quantities last). Tools and training provided.
