• Implement a modern CityNet intranet to improve staff engagement, access to resources, and internal communication.

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Expand online permitting services to improve transparency, access, and processing times, making it easier for residents and builders to apply for and track permits while supporting the City’s housing goals; • Improve the MySurrey account registration process to provide a more consistent, secure, and user-friendly way for residents to access City services online; • Advance the City’s readiness to responsibly use artificial intelligence by delivering priority initiatives that support safe adoption, effective use, and appropriate governance; • Developing and implementing a leasing and property management system to support improved data driven decision making;

• Complete capital initiated projects including the conversion of 7,000 sq. ft. of the former leased space into recreational programming space at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex, along with HVAC optimization upgrades. Additional projects included renovations to the SPS Training Centre and the 1912 Archives Building, as well as the construction of a new childcare space at O'Siem Village at Hawthorne Park; and Deliver on ongoing property acquisition requirements for parkland, road and utility infrastructure programs. •
