• Facilitated the successful transition of SPS members and support staff from the City’s payroll systems to SPS systems; • Continued to develop the Financial Management System by upgrading processes, adding increased

Automated the manual and time consuming process for the digital intake and sorting of accounts payable invoices, saving significant working hours, leading to enhanced efficiency

and repositioning of resources towards value-added tasks; and

functionality, and continuing with efficiency-enhancing initiatives.

CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY

• Earned a special Triple Crown medallion for receiving all three GFOA awards: • The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the 2025 2029 Financial Plan; • The Canadian Award for Financial Reporting for the 2024 Annual Financial Report; • The Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award for the 2024 Annual Financial Report Highlights; • Monitored cashflow and liquidity levels to appropriately manage the timing of investment purchases in response to Bank of Canada policy decisions and market conditions; and • Ensured that all financial transactions and reporting met appropriate statutory requirements.
