• Newton , is home to KPU and a growing shopping district with a variety of recreational and cultural facilities, such as the Newton Seniors Centre, Newton Wave Pool, Newton Arena, Newton Cultural Centre, Newton Athletic Park, Unwin Park, Tamanawis Park, Colebrook Park and the Bell Centre for Performing Arts. Set to become the heart of the Newton community, the new Newton Community Centre will span approximately 175,000 square feet and include a 50-metre swimming pool, gymnasiums, a fitness centre, arts spaces, and a modern library. • Cloverdale , is home to a KPU campus and a range of recreational and cultural amenities, including Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex, Cloverdale Recreation Centre, Cloverdale Curling Rink, Museum of Surrey, Surrey Archives, distinct heritage buildings, and a quaint 'Main Street'. A blend of historic and newer neighbourhoods, Cloverdale also hosts one of the longest running rodeos in Canada and is home to Clayton Community Centre, the City's first Passive House facility, which integrates arts, library, recreation, and outdoor spaces. Nearby parks include Cloverdale Athletic Park, Clayton Park, and Hi-Knoll Park. A new Surrey hospital and BC Cancer Centre will also be located here. • South Surrey , home to the historic resort community of Crescent Beach, this area features the Serpentine Nature Reserve and Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest. This community will be home to the future Nicomekl Riverfront Park combining environmental, cultural, art, heritage and recreational spaces. South Surrey also hosts premier recreational facilities including the Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre and Softball City as well as residential areas, such as Morgan Creek and Grandview Heights. South Surrey also offers convenient connections to the United States from the Peace Arch and Pacific Border Crossings.
