HEALTH AND SAFETY SERVICES

Indigenous Primary Health and Wellness Home Through a partnership between Fraser Health and the First Nations Health Authority, the Indigenous Primary Health and Wellness Home provides the following services: • Longitudinal Primary Care • Nursing Services

• Contraceptive Management • STI Diagnosis and Treatment • Pelvic Exams • Foot Care • Immunizations and TB Testing

Counselling Services

• Access to Cultural Advisors and Elders • Social Work Services

Fraser Health uses a holistic ‘circle of care’ approach, where Elders, physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, clinical counsellors and social workers all come together to wrap care/services around clients. This low barrier clinic is accepting new patients and is open to all Indigenous people. Clients do not have to be attached to the clinic to access services.

Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use

Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use Centre Fraser Health provides a continuum of walk-in and referral-based Mental Health and Substance Use services in the hospital and in the community. A comprehensive listing of regional mental health and substance use services can be found here.

Community-based services include: Fraser Health Access Line

The Fraser Health Access Line: Mental Health and Substance Use (Home of Access Central for Substance Use Services) provide coordinated, phone-based clinical assessment and navigation, helping individuals connect to the service that best fits their needs. Individuals can call 1–833-866-6478 from 8:30 am – 8:30 pm, 365 days a year, to speak with a clinician.
