Textile Dye Garden Open House Saturday, July 25 1pm–4pm Learn about local and Indigenous Plants used for textiles and dyeing.Tour the garden and see demonstrations of spinning and weaving.

TD EXPLORE ZONE This area offers interactive learning through fun activities, teaching kids about Surrey's environments and sustainability. Drop-in during Museum hours.

FEATURE GALLERY Soil Superheroes May 19 – September 13, 2026 The Soil Superheroes exhibit invites visitors to explore the hidden world beneath our feet and discover why soil science and conservation matter. Along the way, guests will meet star players like Captain Clay, The Mole, and Wonder Worm, whose amazing “superpowers” help provide our food and medicine, clean the water we drink, and protect our climate.Through playful imagery and a colourful storyline, these small-but-mighty characters show how collective human actions— from farming practices to what we buy, reuse, and recycle—directly affect soil health around the world.
