2 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To apply as a volunteer with the City of Surrey, you must be:  14 years or older;  Eligible to volunteer in Canada (check your travel documents, if applicable) .

Neighbourhood Cleanup Volunteer Join the Neighbourhood Cleanup program to help keep our city clean and welcoming.You can participate by cleaning up your neighbourhood on your own time, and by joining group cleanups during the summer months at selected dates and locations. Make a positive impact and be part of the many volunteers working together to keep Surrey clean and beautiful! All registered volunteers will receive a vest, litter picker, bags, and safety/nature guidelines to help with your cleanup efforts. See page 64 for group led clean-ups or more Our City opportunities.

Fill out an application online at MyImpactPage.com.  Attend an interview. Interview dates are posted on your online profile throughout the year.  Submit two references that are not from a friend or family member.You can print these forms off online and upload them directly onto your profile.  Complete a Police Information Check (PIC) – Please note that although your participation in the police information check is voluntary, many of our volunteer programs and activities require the acceptance of a police information check clearance. When all the above steps have been completed, you will be contacted by a program administrator to complete the orientation and training. Please note, the volunteer onboarding process can take up to 6 weeks, so we thank you for your patience. Once you are eligible to volunteer, log-in to your profile at MyVolunteerPage.com to search and sign up for volunteer activities, confirm shifts, receive orientation, training, and record your hours of service.
