Steps to follow in order for a participant to receive support:

STEP : Register in a Surrey Parks, Recreation & Culture day camp and ensure that the day camp: runs during the weeks of spring break, March 16-27, 2020 runs the full week Monday through Friday (5 days) from 9am–3pm. 13-year olds must register in a Preteen Camp

STEP 2: Register for one-to-one support: Ensure that you register for support, during the same week you are registered in a camp. The City of Surrey offers one-to-one staff support for children with disabilities to participate in Surrey Parks, Recreation & Culture spring break day camps. Once registered, children are matched with a support staff who will accompany them to their camp of choice. There is no additional fee for this service.

Children BYTE Camp - D Animation on Tablet Turn your drawing skills into awesome animation skills on our tablets! Students will learn to storyboard and use advanced animation skills like ‘Anticipation’ and ‘Squash and Stretch’ to make animations as wild as their imaginations. Students will be introduced to basic coding skills with easy to use drag- and-drop software, and get to use those skills to make their very own games. Students will also learn how to create their own 2D vector artwork to make characters and levels that are entirely their own. The final project is a game that you can take home on USB or proudly share with friends online.
