Explore SURREY'S PARKS

Try Birdwatching! Winter is one of the most exciting seasons for birders! Many birds travel from cooler climates to stay warm over the winter in Surrey’s rich habitats - for a chance to see some of these seasonal visitors, check out the shoreline trails of Blackie Spit Park and Mud Bay Park. It’s also easier to see forest birds when the trees have no leaves. While you walk in the woodland areas of Green Timbers Urban Forest and Redwood Park, remember to look up high in the trees for owls and woodpeckers!
