Planning & Development

EDUCATION & CULTURE

 Updated the Heritage Strategic Plan with the Heritage Advisory Commission; and  Continued as staff liaison to the Social Planning Advisory Committee and to the Heritage Advisory Commission.

 Completed construction of new arts space in City Centre (10660 City Parkway);  Planned and delivered Agriculture Week, including farm tours, a lecture series and public event highlighting agriculture in Surrey;

HEALTH & WELLNESS

 Completed citywide conversion from chlorine gas to liquid in all pools, reducing risk.

 Received recognition and awards for the design/construction of the Grandview Heights swimming pool complex; and

INFRASTRUCTURE

 Continued implementation of mobile technology for building inspections.

 Developed a document scanning solution for Electrical Permits; and

Urban Screen At Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre
