The primary function of the Audit Committee is to represent and assist City Council in fulflling oversight responsibilities in relation to the internal control environment in place at the City, including the review of the audited fnancial statements and other fnancial information, and liaising with the City Manager and CFO/General Manager, Finance in relation to fnancial and internal controls and business improvement opportunities.
