6.2.10 Support the transition to zero- and low emission vehicles by:

6.2.12 Encourage building and landscape design that mitigates extreme heat in urban areas, such as planting shade trees, choosing appropriate materials, and other measures.

a. Exploring increasing access to electric vehicle charging in new developments; and b. Encouraging private industry and public sector organizations to develop or expand their electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

6.2.13 Work toward zero-waste and a circular economy through regional collaboration, programs, and services.

6.2.11 Protect, connect and restore ecosystems and encourage opportunities for negative emissions by incorporating nature-based infrastructure in City projects, managing natural assets for climate resilience and

exploring opportunities for improved carbon sequestration in natural areas.
