D1.2.6 Encourage and permit student housing on the campuses of post-secondary educational institutions.

D1.3.4 Explore tools and/or mechanisms to support the development of new purpose-built rental housing , including: a. Expediting applications; b. Reducing parking requirements; c. Waiving development fees and charges; or d. Providing financial or non-financial incentives. D1.5.1 Support non-market housing projects in all communities and encourage them in locations: a. With access to transit routes; b. Within Transit Oriented Areas ; c. In the City Centre, Town Centres and transit corridors; and d. With access to shopping, civic facilities and other services and amenities. D1.5.3 Use regulatory tools such as "as-of-right" zoning, inclusionary zoning and bonus density to increase the supply of non-market rental housing. D1.5.4 Support the development of non-market housing by: a. Expediting applications; b. Reducing parking requirements; c. Waiving development fees and charges; d. Contributing land; or e. Providing other incentives. D1.5.2 Prioritize Indigenous-led non-market housing projects.

D1.5.5 Develop a land acquisition and funding strategy to acquire sites for non-market housing .

D1.5.7 Partner with BC Housing, Provincial and Federal agencies, non profit organizations, and private developers to provide non-market housing that will meet the current and future needs of residents. D1.2.1 Expand opportunities for multi-generational housing, aging in community, and family-friendly housing, through small-scale multi-unit housing, row housing and townhouses.
