As founder of Honeybee Centre, and as a sustainable farmer in the City of Surrey for over 18 years, I am passionate about preserving farmland and ensuring food security for the residents of Surrey. As a strong believer in small business, I would like to see a reduction of red tape and faster permit processing at City Hall. As a former police officer

with 16 years of experience with the Burnaby RCMP and the City of NewWestminster Police Department, I can say with conviction the decision to transform Surrey from the RCMP to a municipal police force is a difficult one and must only be made after thorough public consultation. I am proud to be part of Bruce Hayne’s slate and I am looking forward to working with Bruce and the other well-qualified candidates on the Integrity Now team. A combination of passion, positive attitude and strong work ethic are the characteristics that have allowed Rina Gill to become the community leader she is today. She has

been volunteering and doing extensive community work for over a decade with 20+ local organizations. Rina organizes a variety of community events including the Surrey Health Expo, which is a tradeshow that focuses on educating Surrey residents on how to live a healthy balanced lifestyle. As an entrepreneur, Rina understands the business community and works closely with small business owners, who are the backbone of the Surrey economy. She takes pride in being accessible to the community and is known to stand up for what she believes in. Rina has run for City Council in the past and missed getting elected by 1 spot in 2014. She is excited to run now with Bruce Hayne and the Integrity Now team, who share the same passion and love for Surrey.
