Our children need us. We are losing children to gangs, mental illness and lack of support. Surrey schools need strong voices and tireless advocates who understand the issues and care enough about them to take a stand. As

the founder of Shakti Society, I believe in community engagement. As a family and youth counsellor, I see the impact of overcrowded classrooms, insufficient resources, poverty and ever-growing anxiety and depression in our children. We have serious problems in our schools and we can’t wait any longer. Using my education and experience, I will tackle the challenges and get results through my established relationships with decision makers. My Plan for Surrey is to make it a better, clean, Peaceful, and educated city. I Plan to Develop new schools and upgrade old ones. Some areas that Really Require work are bathrooms, Playgrounds, Parking lots, and painting schools.
