I have been an advocate for public education for more than 30 years. I was an engaged PAC member and continue to be a member of Canadian Parents for French. Currently

I work as an Education Assistant. I am passionate about public education and believe it is the backbone of our community. I believe students are the future of our society and we must give them every opportunity to reach their full potential. All students can become contributing members of society if they receive the support they need. From 2011 to 2014, I had the privilege to serve as a Surrey School Trustee. My classroom experiences were always top of mind when I made decisions at the board table. I will be a responsive, proactive and engaged trustee. I know it is critical to have new, diverse voices advocating for the needs of the Surrey School District.

I am a small business owner and a father of 2 young children. I am running with Proudly Surrey. The Proudly Surrey team believes that the residents of Surrey need a School Board that works for the many, not the few. Proudly Surrey will bring more local control over how our school

system operates. We will work closely with the City and the Province to ensure that our growing city gets the new schools it deserves and that our older schools get the upgrades they need. We will identify areas where we can build community schools that will meet the needs of our children and the neighbourhoods in which they live. We believe that Surrey Schools are for everybody and we will ensure that all children, teachers and support workers have a safe and welcoming environment to learn and work.
