My stance as a candidate for council is to be the voice of our people. If elected I will represent our community and bring structures. I will obey and govern myself as per rules

& regulations. Living in Surrey for over 30 years I have experienced and been a part of many opportunities to volunteer my services for betterment of our community. I have experienced raising my children and seen the out cry for help. I vouch to be the voice for my community, our community, because I believe together we can acheive.

Kashmir K. Besla will run as an Independent for the office of Surrey councillor. She has lived in Surrey for over thirty years and has always felt proud to call it her home. She is a registered clinical counsellor with a successful private practice. She is very aware of the concerns and needs in the city. Kashmir would like the opportunity to make real change for the residents of Surrey. She is focussed on

creating safe communities, growth with a plan that serves everyone and creating a city we can all be engaged with. Kashmir is very aware of the issues which residents of Surrey face. Affordable housing, transportation, effectively putting tax dollars to work, and listening to the concerns of residents are important issues which she will work hard to address. On October 20th, a vote for Kashmir Besla will be a vote for real change.
