8 Easy Steps to Voting

1. GET TO KNOWYOUR CANDIDATES Familiarize yourself with the candidates to learn who is running for Office.

2. CHECK OUT YOUR VOTER CARD Review your Voter Card package carefully. Detach and bring the card with your name listed to make your voting experience seamless. 3. CHOOSE A VOTING LOCATION Decide which of the 57 voting locations is most convenient for you OR visit one of the 6 Advance Voting Opportunities listed on the front of your Voter Card, or see page 9 of this guide. 4. WHENYOU ARRIVE AT YOUR VOTING LOCATION You will be greeted, have the chance to ask questions, and mark a practice ballot. Please have your Voter Card and/or two (2) pieces of acceptable identification ready. At this time, you will be directed to the first available Election Official. 5. SIGN IN AND RECEIVE YOUR BALLOT The Election Official will review your Voter Card and/or ID(s). You will be asked to sign the voting book to receive your ballot and secrecy folder. 6. ENTER THE VOTING BOOTH You will then proceed to the voting booth, where you will have privacy to mark your ballot. 7. CAST YOUR VOTE Once completed, place your ballot into the secrecy folder and continue to the voting machine where the Election Official will ask you to feed in your ballot.

8. RECEIVE YOUR STICKER You will receive your “I Voted” sticker from the Election Official.
