What if I am out of town or unable to attend a voting location?

Eligible voter(s) may request a mail-in ballot package by: • Downloading (via surrey.ca/election) a request form. Complete and send the request form back to the Chief Election Officer as follows: Mail: City of Surrey, Corporate Services Department (5E) 13450 104 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3T 1V8 Email: election@surrey.ca Fax: 604-591-4706 • In-person: Pick up a request form by visiting City of Surrey, Corporate Services Department (5E) at Surrey City Hall, 13450 104 Avenue For assistance, call the Election Headquarters at 604-591-4389. Mail-in ballot packages will be made available between 8:30am on Friday, September 28 and 4:00pm on Thursday, October 18, 2018. MAIL BALLOT DELIVERY TO CHIEF ELECTION OFFICER You are responsible for ensuring your completed ballot, along with the completed application for registration (if applicable), is received by the Chief Election Officer by no later than 8:00pm, Saturday, October 20, 2018, as follows: • During business hours (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday), please deliver to Corporate Services Department (5E) at Surrey City Hall, 13450 104 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3T 1V8; or • After business hours (7 days a week), drop‑off boxes are available in the City Hall mail slot located at parking level P1 entrance and/or the City Plaza Area main entrance. Drop‑off must occur no later than 8:00pm, Saturday, October 20, 2018.
