Surrey Museum staff engage children’s curiosity with a hands-on collection of artifacts, photographs, crafts and activities to be experienced at the Museum or your site. Call 604-592-6956 for themes and to book. 1 session $71.60 6-12yrs Tuesday–Friday afternoons Guides, Brownies and Sparks tour the farm to learn about people of the past. Prepare applesauce on a wood-burning stove, use a hand churn to make fresh butter, do old-style chores and sew your own bean bag. Finish with a traditional barn dance. Museum guides share inside stories about Surrey’s past with a tour through the galleries. The conversation continues afterwards with tea and cookies. $8/person, attendants are free 16yrs+ Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons Scottish Afternoon Tea Historic Stewart Farm Enjoy delectable farm-baked scones and Scottish shortbread served with a pot of your favourite tea and a little Stewart family history.
