October 25 Friday 8:30am–3pm Youth Speak Up Forum Surrey City Hall 13-18yrs Join the Surrey Leadership Youth Council (SLYC) for this day long form to speak up and discuss civic topics. Volunteer hours and lunch provided. Registration required www.surrey.ca/youth.

October 26 Saturday 10am–2pm Halloween In The Forest Surrey Nature Centre Come in costume for some Halloween fun. Learn fun facts about owls, bats, spiders and raccoons, enjoy Halloween treats and meet the Forest Fairy. Costume prize draw too! This indoor/outdoor event is perfect for families with small children. Rain or shine. 14225 Green Timbers Way Drop In | Free | All Ages October 26 Saturday 11am–3pm Outdoor Treasure Hunt Try geocaching, an outdoor treasure hunt using GPS coordinates, to find hidden containers. After your hunt enjoy refreshments and the chance to win prizes! Geocaching is more fun and safer if you form a group with friends and family. Geocachers must not explore alone and if under 14 be accompanied by an adult. November 11 Monday 9:30am–1pm Surrey Remembers Museum of Surrey Take part in the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph, then come inside for refreshments, lectures, crafts and more. November 23 Saturday Surrey Youth Cooking Showcase South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre Calling all youth culinary masters, food enthusiasts, and baking wizards! November 23 Saturday Surrey Tree Lighting Festival Surrey City Hall Presented by Coast Capital Savings, the Surrey Tree Lighting Festival returns to Surrey's Civic Plaza. The expanded holiday market will return to offer locally-made goods. The Holiday Fun Zone on University Drive will feature: amusement rides, road hockey, food trucks, inflatables and a DJ. The lighting of Surrey’s 60-foot Christmas tree will cap the event. This is one of the tallest Christmas trees in Canada. December 7 Saturday 3:30pm–5:30pm 9th Annual Indoor Tree Lighting Celebration. Kensington Prairie Community Centre 604-592-2605 The holiday season is here! A shadowy barn, creaky floorboards, rustling trees - visit our haunted farm if you dare! This safe and fun family drop-in shares old-time All Hallow's Eve traditions, crafts and spooky treats for all ages. October 26 Saturday 1pm–5:30pm Halloween Escape Room Fraser Heights Recreation Centre Celebrate the spooky season and join us for a fun and exciting escape room.
