PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS TD Explore Zone
Beat the rainy day blues with a visit to this child-friendly micro-Surrey. A super-sized tree fort for climbing, safe experiments with electricity, a wind wall, fishing boat and so much more await your arrival! Indigenous Hall This is a first of its kind–a space of gathering, storytelling and exhibition that is voiced completely by the three land-based Nations in Surrey: Semiahmoo First Nation, Katzie First Nation and Kwantlen First Nation. It is a dynamic and alive space intended to educate and inspire.

Historic Stewart Farm Celebrate the harvest and the Stewart Farmhouse’s 125th birthday with live music, local artisans, farm-style activities, performances by The Re-enactors, a food truck and more. Bring a non-perishable item for the local food bank. Filipino Celebrations Saturday, September 21 Museum of Surrey Come celebrate Filipino culture at Museum of Surrey with performances and Filipino cuisine. Learn Tinikling, try lumpia and bring the kids for a Tagalog and English storytelling. 1pm–4pm
Museum of Surrey Amateurs and professional artists alike are invited after hours for a drop-on event. Practice sketching in our feature gallery and see where inspiration takes you. All ages welcome. Surrey Remembers Monday, November 11 Museum of Surrey Take part in the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph, and then come inside for refreshments, films, lectures, crafts and more. Victorian Christmas Evening Saturday, December 7 Historic Stewart Farm Drop in for a special evening of music, treats and crafts. Make a lantern to take on a caroling walk in the park and snap a photo with Father Christmas. Merry Makers Saturdays, December 7 & 21 1pm–4pm Museum of Surrey Families join the maker movement and will create festive stocking stuffers, hand-crafted ornaments and more. Christmas at the Museum Saturday, December 14 1pm–4pm Museum of Surrey Santa Claus is making a stop at the Museum! Take a free photo, enjoy live performances and make some crafts just in time for holiday decorations and gifts. 9:30am–1pm 3pm–7pm
October 8, 2019 – January 26, 2020 The Chinese Village Club (Surrey) is putting on a cultural display as part of the Museum of Surrey’s Community Treasures exhibit series. The Chinese Village Club is a non-profit organization with a vision to connect people through Canadian multicultural activities.
