With state-of-the-art facilities and some of the best playing fields in the region, the programs and services offered by Surrey Parks, Recreation and Culture have something for everyone. The Fall recreation guide is your gateway to learn a new workout routine, dance step, musical instrument or sport regardless of skill level or age. As one of the fastest growing cities in the region, Surrey City Council has made it a priority to ensure our recreational amenities keep pace with our growth. Parks, Recreation & Culture Committee The purpose of the Parks, Recreation & Culture Committee is to provide advice to Council on strategies and activities related to parks, recreation, culture, diversity, inclusion, sport tourism and seniors' services in Surrey. The Committee consists of members of City Council appointed by the Mayor, volunteer members who are City of Surrey residents and a Surrey SchoolsTrustee.
