POSITIVELY PARENTING WORKSHOP SERIES ONLINE Tuesday 6:30pm–8pm October 18 – November 8 Join the City of Surrey, in partnership with the Alexandra Neighbourhood House, for a free positive parenting series online! Positively Parenting is an interactive and informative series for parents and caregivers of children 6 to 12 years old in partnership with Alexandra Neighbourhood House. This 4-part series takes place onlineTuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8pm. Workshop topics include:

0–5yrs

Preregistration required Provides parents and children opportunities for free play and interaction with others in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where all can participate. Guided activities may include, parachute games, ride on toys, music and movement and active games. AFTER SCHOOL MYzone 8–12 YEARS

A drop-in program designed to provide high quality programming during the critical after school hours 3pm–5pm. It provides a safe and nurturing environment and supports the principles of healthy child development. Other drop-in programs are available, please check with your facility for more information. Children have the opportunity to: Participate in active play and recreation; Receive assistance with homework; Build positive relationships; Develop social-emotional skills; and Develop leadership skills and feel a sense of belonging to their community.

AFTER SCHOOL MYgame

5-6PM O C T O B E R – J U N E 8–12 YEARS

Sign up once, pay the yearly fee, and then drop-in all year. MYzone and MYgame are included in a one year children's Recreation Pass, and Leisure Access Pass

Drop in and have fun doing a variety of active games and sports, or play cards and tabletop board games. Meet new friends and have fun in a safe, supervised environment.
