The City of Surrey is interested in having your organization shown on this map.You can register it at the link above. Surrey's Arts & Culture Map is an example of the work we're doing as part of our Creative Economy in our city. PUBLIC ART IN SURREY Discover public art in Surrey's parks and along pathways, SkyTrain pillars, and historic streets. Over 100 public artworks are completed. More are added every year. Throughout Surrey, you'll find interactive and illuminated contemporary sculptures, engraved boulders, colourful mosaics, and much more. Surrey's Public Art Program brings art into the daily lives of Surrey's citizens.

Edward Fu-Chen Juan’s Botanical Sanctuary celebrates the native plants of South Surrey and consists of two steel-cut panels affixed to the façade of Edgewood Park’s washroom. The front facing gate design features playful illustrations of creeping dogwood, goat’s beard, Pacific goldenrod, and Pacific aster in a spritely meadow. Each plant has been used for generations by local Nations for nutrition, medicine, and technologies; and their abundance is also essential for pollinators. The wall panel features an expanded view of marshland, forest, and the Coast Mountain Range. Both panel artworks in Botanical Sanctuary bring attention to the micro and macro view of a thriving ecosystem within South Surrey.
