SURREY NATURE CENTRE AT GREEN TIMBERS

Nestled within GreenTimbers Park, the Surrey Nature Centre is a place for kids and adults to explore nature. With so many things to do here, what will you enjoy best? Adventuring through the forest with an activity backpack? Watching the leaves change colour in the arboretum? Exploring our indoor nature exhibit? Fishing at the lake? We look forward to seeing you and helping you choose your adventure for the day.

DOG OFF-LEASH AREAS Leashing your dog is one of the easiest things you can do to help take care of our parks and keep them welcoming spaces for other visitors and wildlife. Surrey has many off-leash areas for you and your pooch to enjoy! All off-leash areas are fully fenced except for Freedom, Tannery and Dogwood Park.

SATURDAYS IN OCTOBER

10am–12pm

Help grow Surrey’s urban forest by planting a small tree or shrub with us this fall. Come prepared to get dirty and to have fun. Tools and training provided.

Paws and Reflect! We’re redeveloping our strategy to guide decisions for dog off-leash areas including locations and material selection for the next 10 years. Have your say on how these areas interact with our existing and future parks. Visit our project page for more information about the strategy and how you can provide your input.
