RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES In addition to our indoor recreational facilities, the City of Surrey offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. Get out and explore our nature trails and gardens, public tennis courts, youth parks, water parks, bike trails and more and stay active for life.

Historic Cloverdale is a hub of year-round activity and engagement. Explore state of-the-art recreation facilities and 36 parks, including Cloverdale Athletic Park, which features a range of outdoor sports amenities. Additionally, immerse yourself in heritage sites, captivating public art and the Museum of Surrey.

NATURE TRAILS Explore the wetland, plants, birds and trees at Hi-Knoll Park—one of the few areas in the Lower Mainland where lovely fawn lilies grow. Bose Forest Park is a diverse natural area with forest pathways, viewpoints and natural play areas. OUTDOOR POOLS Make a splash at Greenway Outdoor Pool in Cloverdale. Open during the summer months only. Check online for dates and operating hours.

GARDENS Community Gardens

Cloverdale is home to three of Surrey's community gardens. The Clayton Community Garden located adjacent to the Clayton Dog Off-Leash Park, Ready, Set, Grow! Community Garden at the Clayton Community Centre, and the City's newest garden, Salmonberry Community Garden, at Salmonberry Park. BIKE PARKS Located at the northwest corner of Cloverdale Athletic Park, the Cloverdale Athletic BMX Park is a great destination for novice to intermediate riders. The facility includes a pump track, BMX half-track, snake run, jumps and freestyle area. YOUTH PARKS Cloverdale offers two action packed youth parks: Hazelgrove Park is home to a basketball court and Surrey’s first purpose built parkour course, while CloverdaleYouth Park features a sports plaza and bowl, a basketball/ball hockey court and outdoor social space. DOG OFF-LEASH AREAS Clayton Dog Off-Leash Park is fully fenced with separate large and small dog areas providing a total enclosed area of 1.25 hectares. WATER PARKS Splash, play and picnic at one of two water parks featuring a variety of spray features, nearby tables and shelters. Located at Cloverdale Athletic Park and Hazelgrove Park, sprayers are activated by push PICKLEBALL /TENNIS Check to see what public outdoor courts are located in your neighbourhood.
