DROP-IN Events Week long Scavenger Hunt – National Video Games Day September 10–15 Explore the Museum and learn the history of Video Games! A scavenger hunt is available all week to teach you about this technical phenomenon. Textile Dye Garden Open House Saturday, September 14 1pm–4pm All ages Learn about local and Indigenous plants used for textiles and dyeing. Tour the garden and see demonstrations of spinning and weaving. Filipino Fest Saturday, September 21 11am–4pm Come celebrate Filipino culture at Museum of Surrey with performances, vendors, crafts, textile displays, and aTagalog and English storytelling session.

Let us guide you through the Christ Church Cemetery after dark. Enjoy a Historical stories about the people who came before us and built the streets we walk on. Learn the Ojibwa teachings of the importance of positive thoughts and the affects they have on our ability to get a good night’s sleep. See where your creativity takes you – sketch the feature and Surrey Stories galleries. This is a self led activity with easels available to borrow and mini sketchbooks available to take home.
