SFS Annual Report 2025
Firefighter Recruitment Extensive recruitment efforts were made to complete three separate hiring rounds— addressing staff attrition and supporting the firefighter additions approved by the Mayor and Council. This year, we concentrated on attracting qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds so our firefighting team could better represent our community. We successfully brought in several new firefighters over the course of the year, strengthening our emergency response abilities. Recruitment events took place at different community locations, and outreach programs offered information about firefighting careers. These initiatives not only boosted awareness of the profession but also inspired local residents to join our team.
