GARDENS Community Gardens

PICKLEBALL /TENNIS Check to see what public outdoor courts are located in your neighbourhood. Some are lit for night time use until 10:30pm. For more information visit surrey.ca/ tennis-pickleball . YOUTH PARKS Are you a skateboarder, BMX bike rider, in-line skater, or scooter-rider? Guildford has two skate parks where you can develop your skills and learn new tricks: Guildford Youth Park and Fraser HeightsYouth Park. DOG OFF-LEASH AREAS Tynehead Regional Park and Fraserview Park offer a great place to let your pooch loose to run, play and enjoy a social environment. WATER PARKS Guildford’s Erma Stephenson spray park and water playground is open from mid-May until September 30. Spray parks are activated by push buttons when it is warmer than 20° Celsius. OUTDOOR POOLS Enjoy a free dip or take swim lessons at one of Guildford’s three outdoor pools: Holly, Port Kells and Hjorth Road. Pools are open during the summer months only. NATURE TRAILS Tynehead Regional Park consists of rolling meadow and forest on the banks of the Serpentine River providing an ideal habitat for owls, hawks and coyotes. The river offers views of spawning salmon.The Surrey Bend Regional Park is located on one of the few remaining large, un-diked sections of the lower Fraser River, delivering a treasure trove of ecological sights and sounds. advanced riders, the forested area in Port Kells Park features a dirt jump track with seven jumps in total and two berm turns at both ends of the jumps.
