March 18–21 & 25–28 10am–1pm Spring Break: Into the Woods Museum of Surrey All ages Enjoy a day at the Museum learning about our parks and forests. Learn about the natural habitats, the animals that live there and our role in keeping these ecosystems safe. March 20, 27 Thursday 10am–2pm Discovery Days at the Surrey Nature Centre Start your discoveries outside with one of our Interpreters and choose from a selection of self-guided activities; try one or try them all.Then head inside to check out our nature exhibition space to learn more about the flora and fauna that live in Green Timbers Park. March 22 Saturday 1pm–4pm Celtic Fest Museum of Surrey All ages Get your Celtic on! Be entertained by Celtic music and dancing, explore community booths, and learn about BC’s Celtic community.
Surrey Parks hosts tree sales to offer quality trees at an affordable price to Surrey residents. Buy trees for $20 each to help grow Surrey’s urban forest. Pre-purchase online and choose a pickup time on select dates.

Nature Walk Surrey Nature Centre

Plant a tree, enjoy family-friendly activities, plant your own native plants to take home, and enjoy a picnic in the park. Gloves, shovels, and training provided. Drop in while trees and supplies last. May 3 Saturday 11am–2pm Arbor Day Fraser Heights Park 10588 160 Street surrey.ca/releaf Celebrate Arbor Day by planting new trees in the park! Help grow Surrey’s urban forest and enjoy family friendly activities, music, and a BBQ lunch (while quantities last). Gloves, shovels, and training provided. Drop in and join the fun! May 31 Saturday 1pm–3pm Pollinator Palooza Surrey Nature Centre 14225 Green Timbers Way) Offered in partnership with Metro Vancouver Parks. Drop-in. Celebrate the vital role of birds, bees, and butterflies in our survival! Join a grassland safari or show off your favourite costume in our pollinator parade. Make your own pollinator planter to create a buzzing outdoor space they'll love (while quantities last).
Sensory Sundays First Sunday of the month Museum of Surrey
All ages
Visit your museum in a sensory friendly environment. There will be reduced noise in the galleries, sensory kits for loan and a sensory friendly quiet room.

February to December 3pm–5:30pm Sketching Series First Thursday of the month Museum of Surrey All ages See where your creativity takes you – sketch the feature and Surrey Stories galleries. This is a self led activity with easels available to borrow and mini sketchbooks available to take home.
