POSITIVELY PARENTING WORKSHOP SERIES

PARENT & PRESCHOOLER

Stay and Play 0–5yrs Preregistration required. On site registration if spaces still available. Provides parents and children opportunities for free play and interaction with others in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where all can participate. Guided activities may include, parachute games, ride on toys, music and movement and active games. An adult must participate in this program and is responsible for the supervision of their child(ren) at all times. $3.75* per child 2–5yrs FREE per child under 2yrs Fraser Heights Recreation Centre Friday 10:30am–12pm

Join the City of Surrey, in partnership with the Alexandra Neighbourhood House, for a free positive parenting series! Positively Parenting is an interactive and informative series for parents and caregivers of children 6 to 12 years old in partnership with Alexandra Neighbourhood House.This 4-part workshop takes place online and topics include: What’s Love Got To Do With It? Relationship building and the connection to parenting. Why Are You Acting This Way? Looking at the meaning of challenging behaviour and our response. Listen to Me! Listening, understanding and communicating with your child. We Have A Problem… Problem-solving with your child.

KIT RENTALS

Ask about the one week rental for the Active PLAYces kit at the front desk. Pay $1 and a $5 refundable deposit. Deposit will be refunded when the kit is returned.
