Improve your neighbourhood! From small projects to community events and clean ups, there are many ways to beautify and uplift your neighbourhood. Visit the website to learn more about upcoming sessions and available resources and opportunities, including: Neighbourhood Enhancement Grant Information Sessions Learn about neighbourhood enhancement grants. Share your ideas and get inspiration for your project. Bring your friends, family and neighbours to learn about the opportunities, various tools and resources, and important information to enhance your neighbourhood! Placemaking Meetups Empower your community through placemaking projects that contribute to the vibrancy of Surrey. Placemaking activities can include fence art projects, chalk art, and more! All training and equipment provided. Learning Opportunities Get expert advice and hands-on learning to improve your community and build skills and knowledge to improve your neighbourhood. Neighbourhood Cleanups Join us at select locations and times to clean up litter from Surrey neighbourhoods. All training and equipment provided.You can either drop-in, or sign up to volunteer.

WALKit surrey.ca/walkit Walking is a great way to get around, explore our city and help achieve your fitness goals. Join us for a walk, or use our web map to explore your neighbourhood! The WALKit Web Map is an online interactive tool that seniors can use to find age friendly pedestrian routes across the city. The WALKit Activity Program 55+ is offered weekly year-round. Join us for our group walks to work on mobility, meet new people and chat about different points of interest along the way. We use the WALKit web-based map to plan out Age Friendly and Pedestrian friendly routes. We explore and learn more about a different area of Surrey each week.
