Get out and explore our nature trails and gardens, public tennis courts, youth parks, water parks, bike trails, public artworks. GARDENS Feature Gardens

DOG OFF-LEASH AREAS Enjoy off-leash access at Blackie Spit Park, Dogwood Park, Wills Brook Park and Nicomekl Off-Leash Area, offering beaches, forested trails and fenced open spaces. OUTDOOR POOLS Sunnyside Pool offers free public swims and registered swim classes for people of all ages. Check online for dates and operating hours. PICKLEBALL/TENNIS Public outdoor courts are available throughout South Surrey, with some lit until 10:30pm. For details visit surrey.ca/tennis-pickleball . BIKE PARKS South Surrey Athletic Park offers trails for all skill levels, with additional riding at Latimer Lake ParkTrails and the Fun Fun Park PumpTrack for younger riders.

Darts Hill Garden Park showcases unique trees and shrubs and is open Friday–Sunday from April through to the end of September. Community Gardens Visit Dunsmuir Community Garden, the Intergenerational Therapeutic Garden at South Surrey Athletic Park and the Ocean Park Community Orchard. Elgin Heritage Park, Redwood Park, SemiahmooTrail, Serpentine Wildlife Management Area and Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest Park offer wildlife-spotting opportunities. YOUTH PARKS South Surrey Athletic Parks offers a skate park, bike park, as well as soccer, football, rugby, baseball, tennis and volleyball facilities. WATER PARKS South Surrey Athletic Park offers a spray park for kids of all ages to explore. Cool off May through late September.
