Join one of our team members for a guided nature walk around the Surrey Nature Centre and GreenTimbers Park. Walks are designed for participants and will go rain or shine. April 11 Saturday 10am–4pm Get Growing Darts Hill Garden Park 1633 170 Street surrey.ca/dartshill Come out for a fun garden experience with live music, family-friendly activities and more. Families can learn and explore together in a beautiful outdoor setting—bring the kids and dig in! April 18 & June 13 Saturday 4pm–6pm Jazz Jam Sessions Surrey Nature Centre 14225 Green Timbers Way 12–18yrs In partnership with Surrey Jazz Nights. Jazz-playing youth can drop in between 4pm–6pm to jam with their fellow musicians at the Surrey Nature Centre.

Help grow Surrey’s tree canopy with our affordable tree sales! Purchase quality trees for just $20 each. Order online in advance and choose a convenient pickup time on specific dates. Limits apply.

Plant a tree, enjoy family-friendly activities, take home your own native plants, and enjoy a picnic in the park. Gloves, shovels and training provided. Drop in while trees and supplies last. May 2 Saturday 10am-1pm Arbor Day Sequoia Ridge Park 15220 80 Avenue surrey.ca/releaf Celebrate Arbor Day by adding new trees to a well-loved park! Help grow the urban forest and enjoy activities for the whole family, music, and a BBQ lunch (while quantities last). Gloves, shovels and training provided. Drop in and join the fun!

April – June Thursdays 4pm–7pm Surrey Nature Centre Family Game Nights Join us for free, drop-in family game nights at the Surrey Nature Centre. We have lots of games for all ages, but feel free to bring your own! Light snacks and self-guided outdoor activities (giant outdoor chess and scavenger hunts) included.

April 24, May 29 June 26 Friday 6pm-8pm Coffee House Clayton Community Centre Doors open at 5:45pm. The Clayton Coffee House is a

performance opportunity for both aspiring and established poets, spoken-word artists, novelists, musicians, improvisers or comedians to share their work with the community. Admission is free, capacity is limited. For information, contact communityart@surrey.ca
