Volunteer: Emergency Social Services Join the Emergency Social Services team to assist evacuees for 72 hours after an emergency or a disaster. Volunteers may provide referral services such as shelter, food, clothing, comfort and support. Volunteers will receive a free orientation,

on-going training, and can partake in practice drills to sharpen their skills. A recent example was the Cloverdale Emergency Social Services Reception Centre that was set up during BC’s wildfires in 2017.
