Stop by the farm’s annual sale and seed exchange to purchase heritage vegetable, flower and herbs seeds – all from our own gardens. Tots Easter Drop-in Thursday, April 9 10am–2pm Museum of Surrey Celebrate all things Spring at this event. Meet the Easter bunny, have your face painted, make crafts and have a hopping good time at the museum. Old-Fashioned Easter Historic Stewart Farm After the egg hunt at home kids bring their parents for a hoppin’ good time at the Stewart Farm to make bunny ears, spy treats hidden in the house displays and meet the Easter bunny! Ukrainian Easter Saturday, April 11 1pm–4pm Museum of Surrey performances, try perogies, and watch pysanka demonstrations. In partnership with Ukrainian Women’s Association. School's-Out Day Drop-in: Arctic Friday, May 1 10am–3pm Museum of Surrey Spend the day at the Museum by making a polar craft, going on a scavenger hunt and playing with toy arctic animals. Museum of Surrey Cheer on local teams as flying fingers spin and ply sheep’s wool into yarn, then weave a beautiful shawl. Watch sheep being sheared, try weaving and spinning and make woolly crafts with your kids. Royal Victorian Party Sunday, May 17 Historic Stewart Farm All hail her Majesty, the Queen! The whole family will enjoy this royal celebration with dancing, birthday cake and a chance to meet Queen Victoria herself. Future kings and queens are encouraged to dress the part. Market at the Museum – Environmental Extravaganza Saturday, May 30 11am–4pm Museum of Surrey Want to fight climate change but don’t know where to start? Drop by this unique eco-friendly market and learn about sustainable lifestyles at this fun for all ages event. Sketching Series Thursday, June 11 5:30pm–8pm Museum of Surrey Amateurs and Professionals artists alike are invited after hours for a drop-in event. Practice sketching in our feature gallery and see where inspiration takes you. Father’s Day Open House Sunday, June 21 11am–3pm Historic Stewart Farm Show dad some fun this Father’s Day as you hop aboard Pacific Trackless Trains and take a tour of the scenic grounds. Take in the Greater Vancouver Garden Railway Club’s large scale train display, make a craft, grab coffee on the verandah and settle in for a family picnic. Pride Celebrations Saturday, June 20 1pm–4pm Museum of Surrey Celebrate pride at this fun family event through performances and activities. 11am–3pm

SENSORY FRIENDLY SUNDAYS Did you know that the museum now runs sensory-friendly hours from 10 a.m. to noon on the first Sunday of each month?  Tour the museum with reduced lighting and sound.  Borrow complimentary noise-cancelling headphones (available from the front desk at any time, not just during the sensory- friendly hours)  Access the sensory-friendly space on the museum’s second floor.  Take part in quiet activities such as reading and drawing and play with stress balls and other sensory friendly toys.
