Tie Dye and Fabric Art Experiment with different fabric painting techniques from tie dying, stamping, screen printing, image transferring and more.Young artists will create their own original designs on a variety of fabric items from t-shirts to wall hangings and go home at the end of camp with some fun and useful items! SOUTH 7 Sessions $168 WoodTurning Level 1 - Make a Bowl and More Learn foundation wood turning skills and the lumber milling process using the jointer, planer and table saw to prepare the bowl material. On the lathe, you will create both a multi-coloured hardwood bowl and a spindle. Spindles can be a woodworking mallet, a fish bonker, a French rolling pin or simple dried flower vase. Learn to mill and prepare various colored hardwoods using the mitre saw, jointer, planer and tables saw. Glue them together with waterproof glue and finish the edges with a router. Creative Pottery Discover the joy of creating with clay in this introduction to pottery. Students will learn different hand-building and sculpting techniques while making fun and functional pottery projects in the Semiahmoo Arts Pottery Studio. Different projects every session!
