Social Meet other seniors in your community. Seniors Services Membership required. Bingo Play a game or two of Bingo. Cards are available for a small fee. Must bring own bingo daubers. Seniors Services Membership required. Cribbage Join in a game of cribbage. New players welcome. Seniors Services Membership required. Guitar Bring your guitar and practice your skills with others. Beginners welcome. Seniors Services Membership required. Painting Explore your creativity with this ongoing painting course. Bring your own paintbrushes or use ones supplied. Beginners welcome. Senior Services Membership required.
Poker Get your poker face on and join a round of poker. New players are welcome but there is no formal instruction. Seniors Services Membership required. Ukulele Play your favourite ukulele songs in a group setting where everyone jams along. Bring your own ukulele in good working order. Seniors Services Membership is required. Knitting Come share your knitting projects with fellow knitters. Supplies not included. Seniors Services Membership required. Woodcarving Bring your carving tools and your favourite piece of wood. Share your project and knowledge with other wood carvers. Seniors Services Membership required.

YOUTH ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS

Boys Group Connect with your peers and our trained youth staff to develop social skills and gain new experiences. Games, team building activities and conversations will develop an understanding and connection to the community through recreation. Some activities include sports, arts, cooking, and science experiments. Breakdance A drop-in time specifically to practice breakdancing! Practice, learn and improve with peers and become part of a friendly, inclusive dance community. No prior dance experience required. All levels welcome. Cooking Come and enjoy our free cooking drop-in and learn how to make delicious foods from all over the world. Enjoy tasting your creations while visiting with your fellow chefs. Ideas are welcome as recipes are chosen by participants. Drop-in A drop-in time for youth, designed by youth in our multipurpose space. Activities vary depending onYOUR interests and resources and may include games, crafts, contests, theme nights, special events, and much more! A great place to hang out with friends or make new ones. Facilitated by our youth staff.
Gamers Join other video game enthusiasts for playing and socializing time.The gamers decide on the games that will be played, new games to purchase, etc. New players are always welcome and no prior experience is needed. Girls Group This fun night is planned around activities that have been requested by youth for youth! Crafts, cooking, spa, fitness and art are just some of the different themed nights. Bring your energy and suggestions as new ideas are always welcome. Leadership Join this workshop for a ton of fun. Learn leadership values through team building and leadership games, group discussions, and activities. Sports A youth only time to play sports in our gymnasiums.Youth decide what sports they would like to play. Sports may differ from facility to facility depending on interest and resources. Weight Training Join an experienced instructor and become familiar with the fitness centre. Focus on safe and effective training techniques.
