March 14–17 & 21–24 1pm–4pm Spring Break: Ocean Commotion Museum of Surrey All ages Visit the Museum and learn all things about BC’s marine creatures. Work with Dr. Recycle from Junkology to create marine life crafts, complete a sea inspired scavenger hunt and then snack on seaweed. March 25 Saturday 1pm–4pm Celtic Fest Museum of Surrey All ages Get your Celtic on! Be entertained by Celtic music and dancing, explore community booths, and learn about the Celtic community in British Columbia. March 1 & April 19 Tree Sale surrey.ca/treesale Surrey Parks hosts tree sales to offer quality trees at an affordable price to Surrey residents. Buy trees for $20 each and help grow Surrey’s tree canopy! Pre-purchase online and choose a pickup time on specified dates. Limits apply. Stop by Stewart Farm for our annual seed and plant sale, including flowers, vegetables, and herb seeds collected from our heirloom garden. Bring your own open-pollinated seeds for the seed exchange, get gardening advice from Master Gardeners, and plant a seed to grow at home! April 5, 12, 19, 26 Wednesdays Spring Releaf Tree Planting surrey.ca/releaf Help grow Surrey’s urban forest by planting a tree with us this spring. Bring your enthusiasm and be prepared to get dirty! Gloves, shovels and training provided. Drop-in while trees last. April 1 Saturday 10am–2pm Seedy Saturday Historic Stewart Farm

April 15 Saturday 12pm-8pm SurreyYouth Showcase Guildford Recreation Centre surrey.ca/sys Gather your friends and join us for a 5v5 basketball tournament and a 1v1 breakdance battle. We will also be featuring a youth art showcase from the talented artists in our community! April 28–May 1 City Nature Challenge surrey.ca/citizenscience Join the Surrey City Nature Challenge, an annual global event to observe and record the diversity of plants and animals in our city! From your own backyard, balcony or local park, get your ‘nature nerd’ on this spring and help show Surrey’s incredible natural values to the world. April 29 Saturday 10am–4pm Get Growing Darts Hill Garden Park 1633 170 Street surrey.ca/dartshill Join us for our spring open house event! Take part in free, family friendly activities including gardening workshops, live music, a plant sale, and more! Entry is by donation.
