YOUTH ART NIGHTS

INTERESTED IN JOINING THE BAND? Register for the Make a Music Stage – Youth. Led by industry professionals, these sessions help youth build their skills and confidence.

Come relax, get creative, and connect with friends. Once a month, we are bringing art parties toYouth Night at Clayton Community Centre. These special nights will feature youth music jams and casual art-making.

Date Nights Your one-stop shop for your night out. Come out with the family, drop your kids off at our child minding, and share new experiences with your date. Try out painting with pallet knives, honey tasting, or salsa dancing. See General Interest registration pages for details. One-Day Sundays Want to take an art course, but don’t have the time? Sample these single-session workshops. This season we are exploring historical and sometimes ancient forms of art-making. Learn how to create dyes from natural pigments. Bind pages together to create your own memory book. Capture the organic lines and shapes of plants and flowers using the suns light. Performing Art Courses Build your child’s comfort with making music and performance. VSO School of Music is back with Mini Music Makers . This is a parent-participation class that focuses on literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Royal CanadianTheatre Company offers two theatre arts courses. Sign your child up for improv with Playworkers or Create Musical Theatre.
