PARENT & PRESCHOOLER

POSITIVELY PARENTING WORKSHOP SERIES Tuesdays, April 4–25 6:30pm–8pm Join the City of Surrey, in partnership with the Alexandra Neighbourhood House, for a free positive parenting series online! Positively Parenting is an interactive and informative series for parents and caregivers of children 6 to 12 years old in partnership with Alexandra Neighbourhood House. This 4-part series takes place onlineTuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8pm. Workshop topics include:

Stay and Play 0–5yrs Preregistration required. On site registration if spaces still available. Provides parents and children opportunities for free play and interaction with others in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where all can participate. Guided activities may include, parachute games, ride on toys, music and movement and active games. An adult must participate in this program and is responsible for the supervision of their child(ren) at all times. $3.75* per child 2-5yrs FREE per child under 2yrs

AFTER SCHOOL MYzone 8–12 YEARS

A drop-in program designed to provide high quality programming during the critical after school hours 3pm–5pm. It provides a safe and nurturing environment and supports the principles of healthy child development. Other drop-in programs are available, please check with your facility for more information. Children have the opportunity to: Participate in active play and recreation; Receive assistance with homework; Build positive relationships; Develop social-emotional skills; and Develop leadership skills and feel a sense of belonging to their community.

AFTER SCHOOL MYgame

5-6PM MARCH – JUNE 8–12 YEARS

Sign up once, pay the yearly fee, and then drop-in all year. MYzone and MYgame are included in a one year children's Recreation Pass, and Leisure Access Pass

Drop in and have fun doing a variety of active games and sports, or play cards and tabletop board games. Meet new friends and have fun in a safe, supervised environment.
