Buy trees for $20 each to help grow Surrey’s urban forest. New trees help the environment, provide shade and insulation for your home, increase your property value, and make your neighbourhood more livable. Starting April 20, pre-purchase your tree and choose a pickup time on May 15. Inventory is limited. Watch online for updates about future tree sales. Nominations for the SASSY Awards will open in February 2022 online at surrey.ca/youth The 12th annual SASSY Awards event will be held on May 4, 2022.The SASSY Awards honour youth who are living or studying in Surrey or White Rock and are making a difference in our community.The awards are provided by the Semiahmoo Rotary Club and aim to recognize, acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of youth who exemplify "Service Above Self." Nominations will be accepted in six categories for youth aged 15 to 21 living, studying or working in Surrey or White Rock.
