SNOWFLAKE 3–5YRS Trying to decide if Snowflake or Preschool Level 1 is a better fit? If your child is ready to go without a parent, register for Preschool Level 1. If they would benefit from support from a caregiver, register for Snowflake. No previous skating experience is needed for either level.

Please ensure you have registered your child in the correct level. If they are registered in a level they have not been progressed to or assessed at, they will be moved to the appropriate level as space permits or withdrawn from the program.

SKATING LESSONS

HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ICE SKATING LESSONS

Skating Snowflakes Join your preschooler on the ice and introduce them to the world of ice skating in this beginner class. Using fun activities and toys, skaters will learn on ice safety, standing, falling and walking unassisted. Requires on ice support provided by an adult. CSA

*All City of Surrey Learn to Skate and Hockey program participants are required to wear a CSA-Certified hockey helmet or snowboard helmet.This includes parents in parent participation classes. Helmets are mandatory for all children 12 and under during public sessions. All participants 13 years and older are strongly recommended to wear a CSA helmet while on the ice during public sessions. Skate and helmet rentals are available.
